Our story
Stone Street to forever.
There are neighborhoods, corners, restaurants, trains, thrift racks, and late-night walks all folded into the route. The map is a little distorted because memory is too.
Sam and Ali’s New York is less about exact geography and more about the places that became theirs.
December 2020: "The first time I turned Ali on" — Sam (our third date)
April 2021: Ali's first time in San Francisco for Sam's 25th birthday
May 2021: Sam teaching Ali to ride a bike on Kiawah Island
October 2021: At James and Beth's wedding on Kiawah Island
October 2021: Our first Halloween together... the costumes have only gotten more elaborate since
November 2021: Harvard Yale!
January 2022: The first of many trips to Jamaica to visit Spencer and Nomi (and now Lev!)
May 2022: Sam's business school graduation
July 2022: Our stint cosplaying as club-going Berliners
July 2023: Settling into our beloved Stone Street apartment together with our beloved god-dog, Oscar!
April 2024: Chocolate making (eating) in Peru
August 2024: Sam finally treats Ali like a queen in Bali

December 2025: "Hiking" in the Bay
May 2026: Our engagement in Paris! Sam pulled off the ultimate surprise with picnic by the Seine filled with food from all of our travels — plaintain chips from Jamaica, chocolate from Peru, tea from Bali, Lambrusco from Italy, and so much more.

- Do you have a room block?
- No we do not have a room block but we’ve included a bunch of recommended hotels. If you’d like to stay at the Bowery we recommend booking as soon as possible
- What is the dress code?
- The dress code for the wedding is black tie, more details and Pinterest boards to follow
- Can I bring my kids?
- While we love your children the wedding will be adults only. We thank you for respecting this request and hope you are able to join us!
- Can I bring a Plus 1?
- Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those specifically invited. If you're unsure who that includes, enter your name in our RSVP page to see your plus one or, for families, the guests in your party. Formal invitations (to come) will also include the individual names of all invited guests.
